Daniel received a $50,000 award Friday on the Regeneron Worldwide Science and Engineering Truthful. He created an algorithm that is now getting used to diagnose septic shock and assist meteorologists with hurricane predictions.
The Enloe Magnet Excessive College junior was initially attempting to develop an app that might allow hands-free management of turning sheet music whereas enjoying the piano.

The competitors featured greater than 1,800 younger scientists from world wide. Daniel was judged based mostly on his creativity, innovation and stage of scientific inquiry.
