AMSTERDAM — Carson Cotugno turned in a robust efficiency on the mound for Amsterdam because the Rams defeated Broadalbin-Perth 4-0 Thursday afternoon on the Rao Household Stadium at Shuttleworth Park.
Cotugno struck out 12, walked three and allowed three hits to get the complete-game victory.
Lead-off hitter CJ Durinick had a double and a single and scored twice for Amsterdam, whereas Spencer Cotugno doubled and Carson Cotugno singled and drove in a run. Andrew Spagnola added a single and an RBI for the Rams and Noah Marshall had a single and runs scored.
Migliocca, Jake Terwilliger and TJ Platt all singled for Broadalbin-Perth.

GLOVERSVILLE — After heavy rains pressured stoppage of Wednesday’s recreation within the backside of the second, Amsterdam and Gloversville picked up the place they left off Thursday.
The Rams constructed on Wednesday’s 4-0 to complete the Foothills Council recreation with a 10-0 victory over the Huskies at Gloversville Excessive College.
Jordyn Wozniak powered the Amsterdam offense with two dwelling runs, two doubles, two RBIs and three runs scored, whereas Shelby LaMont homered and drove in two runs and Sydney Szczepanik had two doubles and two RBIs to go together with two singles and two RBIS from Gaby Maroto.
Gloversville received three hits, all singles, from Jordan DeMagistris, Alana Biasini and Miracle Conyne.
