WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) — A person was arrested this morning in Watertown after making terroristic threats at two areas.
Michael J. Tweedy, 30, was arrested this morning by the Watertown Metropolis Police Division following an investigation into two bomb threats on June 25, 2021.
In keeping with Watertown Police Detective Lieutenant Joseph R. Donoghue, Sr., Tweedy referred to as in threats at two separate areas. This included Planet Health at 1222 Arsenal Avenue and Skyline Residences at 454 Mill Avenue, each in Watertown.
These threats result in the evacuation of a number of people for an prolonged time frame whereas Fort Drum Okay( bomb detection canines search each buildings.
Subsequently, Tweedy was charged with two counts of New York State Penal Legislation 490.20 sub 1, Making a Terroristic Risk, a Class D felony.
Tweedy is being held on the Metropolis of Watertown Police Station till arraignment.
